Sailing Delta del Tigre
Meet the mansions of the oldest families in Buenos Aires. Sail through the Delta of the Parana River, an area of 25.000 km2 of subtropical jungle made up of thousands of small islands, and be amazed with its wild landscapes.
This is a classic tour of Buenos Aires, we depart from the hotels and we will visit San Isidro city, where we’ll do a short stop and we’ll see the magnificent and the neo-Gothic cathedral and mansions inhabited by old families of the aristocracy that used to live there. After visiting San Isidro, we continue our tour to Tigre city, one of the most touristic places in Buenos Aires, also Tigre is called the “National Capital of Rowing” for its famous Rowing Clubs situated over there. Once in Tigre, we head towards the port area where we will take a Catamarán in order to sail trought the Delta. Will cross the Delta tributary rivers: Tigre, Lujan and Sarmiento. We will see over the area rowing clubs with their traditional wooden boats, the picturesque houses and the weekend bungalows. The one hour navigation tour will allow us to see from the river, the flagship Sarmiento Museum and the Fruit Market, and the area of weekend houses. After sailing around Tigre Delta we will return to Buenos Aires by bus.**
