Discover one the most beatifull metropolis in South America, Buenos Aires city “the Tango city”. During our tour you will visit ones of the most emblematic neighborhoods, and lern about the history and extraordinarily places.
During our tour we are going to pass through the centre of the city, and we’ll cross 9 de Julio Avenue (considered as one of the widest in the world), along this avenue you’ll appreciate the emblematic Obelisk and the famous Colon Theater. From there, we will continue until Plaza de Mayo. Here we will do our first descent. Around Plaza de Mayo we will see Casa Rosada (The Goverment Palace), the old City Hall of Buenos Aires, and the famous Cathedral, where lies the tomb of Liberator of America, General Don José de San Martín. We will continue our journey to San Telmo, one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city where the tango music was born. San Telmo is known for its colonial houses and streets paved with cobblestones. We will move further south to visit La Boca, the old neighborhood of immigrants and where was the first port of the city. La Boca still preserves wooden houses with colorful roofs. Here we can visit the famous Boca Juniors stadium “Bombonera” and “Caminito”, a pedestrian street and a traditional passage of great cultural and tourist value. Continuing with our tour, we will pass through the neighborhood of Puerto Madero, the most modern and newest in the city. Also, we will have a panoramic view of the women Bridge and the old training ship Fragata Sarmiento. Also, we’ll pass along Libertador Avenue, where is located the train and bus station of Retiro. On the same area are the San Martín square, the British Tower monument, among others. Going to the north we’ll cross Palermo neighborhood, known for its beautiful parks and gardens, its monuments and museums. From there, we will go through Recoleta area, one of the most exclusive places in Buenos Aires. We’ll do a stop over Alvear square, where are placed the old Cafe“La Biela”, the Recoleta Cemetery, the Church Nuestra Señora del Pilar and Culural Center of Recoleta. Finishing the visit in Buenos Aires we will cross the elegante Alvear Avenue, to end our tour in the centre of the city.
